Congratulations to Kim Murray on winning skeleton gold at the European Cup in Winterberg

Kim clocked in at 128.1kph going over the finish line!

In 2017 SWRnewstar’s Andy Butler watched Kim’s appearance on a local news programme and didn’t hesitate to get in touch offering to support her campaign to reach the 2022 Olympics. SWRnewstar is proud to be one of Kim’s sponsors.

Kim commented about this weekend’s win:

“I’m thrilled to have won the gold in Winterberg, my first race win! It’s been a while in the making but was worth the wait. I’m excited for the next few weeks, to take on the challenge of the World Cup in Sigulda and then back in Winterberg. I’ll take confidence from this win, and the past couple of weeks. Once again the whole British team performed incredibly, it’s been a great start to the season and I’m proud of the whole team.”

The next challenge is the World Cup race in Latvia – good luck Kim (and all of Team GB)…
